TEDxMowe is an independently organized TEDx event licensed by TED and curated to spotlight powerful ideas, untold stories, and bold thinkers shaping the future from one of Nigeria's most overlooked communities: Mowe, Ogun State, redefining the possibilities of ideas to the world at large.
Mowe is often seen as a mere passage between Lagos and Ogun State, a "forgotten place" without much attention from media or infrastructure investors. But beneath the surface lies a generation of thinkers, builders, creators, and visionaries who are actively building the future from the inside out.
TEDxMowe exists to challenge this narrative. We believe Mowe is not a backdrop, it's a birthplace of brilliance. Our mission is to show that global potential can grow from forgotten places.
